Zoran Musić

Zoran Mušič (1909–2005) was a *Slovenian painter, engraver and cartoonist* whose work has profoundly affected the European art of the twentieth century. Born in Bukovica, near Gorizia, he lived and worked at *Venice and Paris*developing an international career characterized by a wide variety of styles and techniques. His work explores a wide range of themes: Mediterranean landscapes, still lifes, portraits, self-portraits and poignant scenes inspired by his personal experience at the *Dachau concentration camp, which deeply influenced his human and artistic vision.
